If your morning routine could use a switch-up, we have three words for you: salad for breakfast. Take it from Kristy Cranford, a Thrive Market member in Chattanooga, TN: a plant-rich plate topped with a homemade vinaigrette is the perfect way to start the day (along with a matcha latte made with Thrive Market Ceremonial Matcha Tea, of course). Considering she’s a student of functional nutrition, suffice it to say she knows what she’s talking about.
As a dedicated price comparison shopper who’s also health conscious, Kristy relies on Thrive Market for all her family’s essentials. “When I first started my membership I was navigating trying to figure out what to eat on an Autoimmune Protocol diet,” she says, adding that she first heard about Thrive Market in a book by Dr. Mark Hyman. “Thrive Market made it very easy by having every available food product that falls into this category mapped out for me already!”
Read on for the five products she can’t live without, her go-to healthy recipes and more in her Food Diary.
My day always starts out with a matcha latte made with Thrive Market’s Ceremonial-Grade Matcha and Thrive Market Almond Milk.
Nine times out of ten, I have a salad for breakfast made with a base of spring greens, artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, nutritional yeast, and Skipjack Tuna or another protein source. Homemade dressing with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, touch of honey, granulated onion and garlic, with a dash of pink himalayan sea salt.
I purchased nutritional yeast, Bloom Turmeric-Infused Honey, Wild Planet Skipjack Tuna, and Thrive Market Dijon Mustard from Thrive Market. These are definitely some of my longer lasting staples.
One of my favorite easy lunches consists of Thrive Market Original Coconut Wraps with shredded chicken breast, a little sea salt and pepper, Thrive Market Coconut Oil Mayo (I love that it’s made with coconut oil and only the yolk of eggs because I’m not able to tolerate egg whites) and a side of my favorite Thrive Market Sweet Potato Chips.
One of our favorite go to recipes for dinner are shredded chicken soft tacos or quesadillas made with Siete almond flour or cassava flour soft tacos, shredded chicken breast or thighs, fresh cilantro, and a side of lactose-free sour cream and fresh pineapple salsa. Delicious and super easy!
If I need a little snack, I might enjoy a little almond butter and a peeled apple or with some Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers.
For my morning ritual, I always have a matcha latte and drink filtered water throughout the day. If the need for something when carbonation comes into play, I enjoy sparkling mineral water or a Waterloo flavored sparkling water.
I believe in my first order I purchased Thrive Market coconut water (yummy!), hemp milk, coconut milk, and freezer pops.
My all time top five favorite products are:
A new favorite 5 ingredient meal in our household is an easy pasta dish:

2 tbsp Thrive Market Olive Oil
1 small package crumbled feta cheese
⅓ cup kalamata olives, chopped
Instructions
Bring a medium pot to a boil, and cook the pasta following the instructions on the box. Meanwhile, in a medium pan, saute your preferred protein until cooked. Toss the cooked pasta and protein together with the olive oil, feta cheese, and olives. Season with a little sea salt and fresh basil.
