If we had to choose one meal that brings the full spectrum of nutrition into a single bowl, it would be bibimbap. Traditionally prepared with carrots, cabbage, greens, zucchini, daikon, mushrooms, chili pepper paste, fermented soybean paste, whole grains, and protein, this Korean dish is just one step away from perfection. So famed chef Jet Tila showed us how to give it a major superfood boost.
In this video, Chef Jet breaks down his bibimbap-inspired Seoul Bowl from Veggie Grill, which pairs veggie “beef” with a medley of cabbage, arugula, carrot, and pickled onions, plus brown rice and protein-rich quinoa. Can’t forget the gochujang, a Korean chili pepper paste. To top it all off, he whips up a special superfood mix of toasted hemp seeds, chia seeds, goji berries, and coconut flakes—that’s a ton of fiber, healthy fat, and antioxidants. Not to mention, it adds a wonderful crunch and flavor that’s perfect on salads and oatmeal, too. In fact, you’re gonna be sprinkling this on everything!
